Highway from behind the wheel
The time has come for me to drive outside of the neighbourhood. It was somewhat exciting yet scary. Thank God my dad was there to guide me throughout this first time drive to Shah Alam. Driving is like a life-or-death version of games. I felt like I've been driving my entire childhood playing racing car-crashing games *cough* Need for Speed *cough* I felt like I was reliving my childhood in an adult life. So that was the exciting part.
The scary part is that I figured being in an 'L' labeled car and a 'P' labeled car is really big of a contrast. Being an L and having the instructor on your side claims that you are a student. Unfortunately being a P, doesn't necessarily mean that. Yes you're still learning but... drivers don't care. They simply assume you're good enough because you're not an L. The thing is that, the only road I've ever driven on is the circuit at my driving school and the route during my JPJ test. As a second day P-license holder, expect plenty of flaws and danger from me. I wish there's some kind of sign that can show that I just freakin started. "Be cautious, take cautions" is all I'm trying to say. I started to think that getting a P is really easy. No wonder accident rate keeps rising.
Anyhow just wishing I can drive on my own pretty soon enough. Being the first kid to drive in the family means I can leave the house whenever I like oops jk. Let's just pray nothing bad happens to myself or even worse - the car.
Dropping by with cautious,
Melynn.
